FAQ

What is the Teva Protocol?

The Teva Protocol is the first on-chain infrastructure that unifies on-chain Guilds and Native Games; it is designed to unlock the economic layer for Web3 gaming.

What are onchain guilds?

On-chain guilds are tokenized and permissionless guilds. Think about it as the community infrastructure for on-chain play with your own utility token, revenue share model and with your own 3D mascot IP.

Who should launch a guild?

The short answer is anyone and everyone. Whether you are a creator, part of a community, a DAO, Esports team or memecoin creator, the Teva Protocol gives you the rails to own your gaming future through your guild.

Why should I launch my guild with Tevaera?

For starters, every guild is fully on-chain, launched with its own utility token, treasury, and governance — all owned and operated by the community. Guilds are economically self-sovereign, earning ongoing revenue through token trading with a 1% trade tax on buys and sells, 85% of which goes directly to the Guild Treasury and its creator. Beyond that, Tevaera is investing heavily in the ecosystem — allocating 32% of the total $TEVA supply (that’s 1.28 billion tokens) toward guild growth and incentives. Guilds also benefit directly from every new title launched on the protocol. For example, 70% of the $DR token supply from the upcoming game Degen Rivals is allocated to guilds via gameplay. And it doesn’t stop there. Guilds can bring in their own external revenue streams and manage them entirely onchain. From token rewards to treasury growth, Tevaera gives you the rails to launch and scale a real onchain economy.

How much does it cost to launch a guild?

To launch a guild you need 2500 Teva tokens plus around 5 dollars to generate your 3D mascot (roughly 20 dollars total at current prices).

How does forging work?

After your guild token is minted, it is launched at the same time through a forging curve where 87.5% of the supply is sold to raise 525,000 $Teva tokens. Once the 525,000 $Teva tokens are raised, your guild is crowned.

What happens when my guild gets crowned?

Once your guild is crowned, the remaining 12.5% of the supply + 525,000 $Teva raised are used to create a liquidity pool on Pancake Swap (on Base). This Liquidity Pool is fully owned by the Guild Creator and time-locked for 7 years. Additionally, all trading fees generated by this pool also go to the Guild Creator.

What happens if a guild becomes inactive?

Guilds on Tevaera are fully autonomous. Even if the original creator becomes inactive, the guild’s score, rewards, and token continue to exist onchain. Governance and treasury management are decentralized and community-owned, allowing the guild to operate independently. Creators can also transfer their “creator rights” by selling the Guild Mascot NFT — the onchain key to guild ownership. This enables transparent, permissionless community takeovers with no offchain coordination required.

What is the Guild Score and why is it needed?

The Guild Score is a dynamic metric that reflects your guild’s overall performance — combining gaming success, token strength, and community engagement. It’s calculated as: Guild Score = 60% Gaming Performance + 30% Token Strength + 10% Social Engagement This score is essential for reward distribution, as guilds compete in a gamified system with a public leaderboard. Higher scores unlock greater rewards, visibility, and status across the Tevaera ecosystem — making it a core part of guild strategy and growth.

Can I change the name or mascot of my guild after launch?

Once launched, your guild and its mascot become part of on-chain history and cannot be changed — this ensures the uniqueness and immutability of your guild’s identity.

Can I add members to my guild?

Yes! Anyone can join your guild by purchasing your guild token on PancakeSwap, via Coinbase app (once integrated), or directly through the Tevaera platform — where all guilds are listed and easily accessible.

Can members belong to multiple guilds and create multiple guilds without restrictions?

Yes, members can join and create multiple guilds without restrictions. Tevaera’s permissionless framework allows anyone to hold tokens from different guilds, engage with various communities, and even launch multiple guilds of their own. There are no limits on simultaneous participation. However, contribution-based rewards (such as gameplay or quest incentives) are tied to your primary guild, which you can select — and update — anytime from your user profile.

Is there a benefit to purchasing guild tokens as a creator before the guild is launched?

Yes, there is a key advantage for creators to purchase guild tokens before the guild is launched and forged. During this pre-forging phase — while the forging contract is being deployed — the creator has a protected opportunity to acquire tokens without exposure to public sniping or external price pressure. This allows the creator to take a meaningful position in their guild ahead of launch, at the most favorable and stable pricing. We strongly recommend that creators take advantage of this window, both to secure their stake and to actively shape their guild’s early economy. Creators can also explore different strategies for distributing those tokens — such as pooling with the community, launching airdrops, designing reward systems, or even implementing burn mechanisms. This early planning helps align incentives and build a stronger foundation for long-term guild success.

What are the options for distributing rewards within a guild?

Guilds on Tevaera have multiple ways to manage rewards across different layers of value. Tevaera-native rewards — from games or platform programs — are distributed based on each guild’s score and a 30-day rolling average of member token holdings. These rewards can be claimed directly from user portfolios. Creators can also claim rewards like trading fees or tax-based incentives via their portfolio. Guild treasury rewards are governed collectively, allowing communities to decide how funds are allocated or used. Protocol revenue buybacks are automated and tied to Guild Scores, adding long-term value to active guilds. For any external revenue, Tevaera will provide tools for simple ERC-20 distribution, while leaving governance fully independent and customizable by each guild.
