# Introducing Teva

**The ticker is $TEVA.**

One ecosystem token to drive and unlock the next era of the Web3 gaming economy, rewarding those who create value within the Tevaera ecosystem. Our token design for Teva is based on 2 key guiding principles: 

1. Reward those who create value for the gaming ecosystem rather than extract or transfer value. Example: Tevans with rep score, Teva Guards;  Game Developers etc. 
2. Enable sustainable decentralized governance. 

Based on this principle 51% of the total Teva supply is allocated to the community and ecosystem growth.

**TEVA is the native utility token for Tevaera that is used for:**

1. Fees for processing transactions on Teva Chain
2. Running nodes to secure the decentralized gaming platform.
3. Power the play-and-earn economy with gaming agents, tournaments, and game modes.
4. Enable community-led governance to grow the Tevaera gaming ecosystem.
